Adding a filter to an email module means that you segment the content to only be visible for selected recipients.
The email module filtering function is useful if you, for example, want to use different images for men and women in an email or show a reward voucher to your high-level members only.
Keep in mind that if you take a copy of a filtered module and simply keep and edit the current filter, the changes apply on all modules where the filter is in use—and the same goes for copies of the email in question.
Add a filter to an email module
- Click on the module and choose Filter in the right-hand panel.
- Either choose a filter from the drop-down list or click Create new.
- Name your filter. Browse your current Segmentations and Labels or go to the Search tab to create a new filter group using the segmentation tool. Click Include or Exclude to set your filter.
- Finish by clicking Save.
