Value split in 'New contact registered' automation

Value splits allow you to send your contacts down different paths of your automation based on a range of values. This article is about how to use value splits with the 'New contact registered' trigger.

By using a value split with this entry trigger you can send different messages to your customers depending on contact type or recruitment store.


In this example we're sending different emails to new contacts and new members of our loyalty program, with the help of a value split. We've chosen the trigger (New contact registered) and set the entry criteria.

  1. Click on the plus sign and select Value split.

  2. Select Contact type in the Create split based on drop-down menu.

  3. In the Select value drop-down menu, select a contact type and click OK.


  4. Click Add to add a split for each contact type you want to add. Finish by clicking OK.

Now, just keep building your automation flow.
