Is it possible to automatically recommend relevant products?

With this automated flow, you can automatically promote products with personal recommendations and get one step closer to true personalization.

See our webinar about product recommendations here (SWE).

Follow this step-by-step guide to set up marketing automation that covers:

  • How to use the trigger Product purchase, including recommended entry conditions
  • How to assign a label that enables tracking in other communication
  • How to do an email send out
  • How to send a reminder to customers who haven't return any product
  • How to exclude those who already bought the recommended product
  • How to name and activate the automation

Preparations

If you are interested in product recommendations, contact your client manager. This works best with Product Recommendations enabled, historical transactional data (pref 12 months back in time), and an email module.

Step-by-step guide

Create a new automation and choose the trigger “product purchase ”.

  3. Click OK.

The entry criteria is now done.

2. Assignments

Set label

We want to track all members who have entered this automation, this way we have the option to identify them in other communication as well. We, therefore, start off by assigning a label. Use the symbol + and the function Ad activity.
