Here's an easy step-by-step guide to help you with your export.

1. Go to export

Go to Administration > Export/Import > Export in the main menu. Click New export and select Contacts and Transactions.

2. Include contacts 

Include/exclude contacts for your export using the following options:

  • Target audiences
  • Labels
  • Previous messages
  • Search (can be used exclusively or as a complement to include/exclude single contacts to your main selection)

3. Select fields

Click Next to select the data fields you want to include in your contact export. Untick the checkboxes of the fields you don't want to include for this specific export.

Exports with a large amount of contacts and data can take a long time in Engage. We recommend that you only select the fields you actually need. Feel free to contact our support team if you have any questions about large exports.

4. Include transactions

It is possible to include actual transactions in your export file having one transaction per row (this should not be mixed up with the KPI data under contacts that contain calculated data based on all transactions).

5. Create export file

Click Next, enter a name for your file in the description field and click Export.
