Hello Retail product recommendations

Are you working with Hello Retail to create a personalized online experience with product recommendations? Then you might be interested in using that functionality in your email communication as well.

Engage has a standard connection with Hello Retail which makes it easy for you to drag and drop a Hello Retail module in your emails. Decide which campaign to use by changing the Template ID (from a Hello Retail Auto campaign) in the Engage email editor.

For example, if you only want to show products from a specific category, it is possible to set up the campaign in Hello Retail, making it more flexible than ever before to work with different types of Hello Retail content in Engage.

The email module

The Hello Retail module is a dynamic module that displays images in a three to four column design (depending on your choice). The module collects and automatically populates one image containing the product picture and one below containing the product name, description, and price.

The module is completely based on images and does not contain any text fields. This means that all the configuration is managed in Hello Retail (e.g., name, price, font, and size) and Engage simply populates it.

Settings

You just drag and drop the Hello Retail module in your email editor and insert the Template ID (from a Hello Retail Auto campaign) of your choice.

Content population

The Hello Retail module will be loaded with content when the recipient opens the email. This means that the content can vary if the customer opens the same email multiple times during a longer time. It also means that the content always will be updated with relevant products which is great if you are using the module to present "Top products", "Most sold items" or similar campaigns.

Talk to your Account Manager if you are interested in adding a dynamic Hello Retail module to your Engage setup.
