Are you using Apptus to create a personalized online experience with product recommendations? Then you might be interested in using that functionality in your email communication as well!

Voyado has a connection with Apptus which makes it easy for you to work with different types of Apptus content in your emails. You just drag in a pre-configured module in your emails and insert your Apptus campaign token - that's it!

To activate Apptus product recommendations in Voyado you will need the Apptus email module and an integration, preferably between your e-com and Voyado, to transfer the Apptus customer key for each contact to Voyado.

The email module

The Apptus module is a dynamic module that displays images in a 3-4 column design (depending on your choice).

The module collects and automatically populates an image containing the product picture, name, description and price. The module is completely based on images and doesn't contain any text fields. This means that all the configuration is managed in Apptus (i.e. name, price, font and size) and Voyado simply populates it.

Drag and drop the Apptus module into your email editor and insert data from Apptus about the campaign and block you want to populate in your email.

  • Campaign token - Insert the campaign number found in Apptus (example: “BkWrLRqpqVTxUzvIK”)
  • Block - If you want to use the Apptus module more than once in the same email (to show different types of recommendations in different areas of your email), insert which block you want to show in the selected email module here (1 is default)

Content population

The Apptus module will be loaded with content when the recipient opens the email. This means that the content can vary if the customer opens the same email multiple times during a longer time period. It also means that the content always will be updated with relevant products which is great if you are using the module to present "Top products", "Most sold items" or likely.

Talk to your Client manager if you are interested in adding a dynamic Apptus module.
