Introduction to the onsite message editor

This article introduces the onsite message editor.

When entering the onsite message editor, you will be presented with this view.

At the top you have some essentials, like the name of the campaign, its status, a toggle to switch between the desktop and mobile preview of the campaign, and so forth.

Directly beneath is the “flow journey” horizontal bar. This representation lets you move through the campaign roughly in the same order that the end users will experience it. Start with the basic settings, then create the minimized and maximized views, configure any messages that are to be sent after the user has finished the flow, and finally configure what should happen if and when a user who has completed the flow returns through a reminder link.

Depending on which step you choose in the flow journey, you'll see different settings in the main view beneath it. The flow journey and the settings you make are read from left to right. Settings you make in the beginning affect what settings are visible in later steps, but things you change in the right-most views do not affect things that you’ve already configured in the beginning (the left-most views).

The available campaign configurations are covered in this article.
